Staff

Stuart Alan Clarke became the Town Creek Foundation’s second Executive Director in October of 2004. His previous philanthropic experience includes working as a Program Officer with the Turner Foundation and as the Development Director of the Southern Partners Fund, both in Atlanta, GA. Stuart has also served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Williams College in Williamstown, MA; as the Director of the Atlanta Outward Bound Center; and as the Chief Operating Officer of Hands On Network, a national network of community-based centers for volunteerism and civic action. Stuart serves on the boards of the Center for a New American Dream, the Environmental Grantmakers Association, and Outward Bound. He received his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania and did his graduate work at Yale University.
Teresa L. Crane joined the Town Creek Foundation staff in April of 2006 as a Program Associate. Teresa, who has a MA in Science, Health and Environmental Communication from Marquette University, and a BS in Biology from Heidelberg College, has worked with the Alaska Conservation Foundation and the Friends of Milwaukee’s Rivers. She has also conducted exit polling for WMTJ News Channel 4 and is the current all-time win record holder for women’s tennis at Heidelberg College.
Cheryl A. Lee has been with Town Creek Foundation since February of 2004. As Office Manager, her duties encompass all tasks necessary to keep the office running smoothly. Cheryl came to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 2001 from Palm Bay, FL, where she worked in the corporate world as a Purchasing Agent for Rockwell International. When not at work, she spends her time with her husband, children, and menagerie of animals... everything from hives of bees to a backyard flock of chickens.
